Everyone could do with a teaspoon of encouragement a day. I believe it is really really important for anyone, because in today's world things are so much more confusing, stressful and disappointing.
It's not easy to keep putting yourself out there either for a job, that never gives you a reward, or keeps pointing out your mistakes and threatens redundancy. Or issues in the world that worry us senseless, especially when it comes to the future of your children. I could go on and on, but that's not the point.
Each day I would like to give a teaspoon of encouragement to everyone, and I encourage all of you to read it and think long about it, and mentally absorb it into your life and your situations.
But what does 'encourage' really mean:
From the dictionary online website, this is what I found:
verb (used with object), -aged, -ag·ing.
1.to inspire with courage, spirit, or confidence: His coach encouraged him throughout the marathon race to keep on running.
2.to stimulate by assistance, approval, etc.: One of the chief duties of a teacher is to encourage students.
3.to promote, advance, or foster
It is an ACTION to make things better or improve something. It certainly is a positive, and being positive helps to keep all of us in check with our goals in live and to comfort us.
Let's encourage each other to do the right thing and push for a better tomorrow.
